Board of Directors • Purpose

• Board of Directors: The Board of Directors reflects NAMI MC’s consumer base, its needs, and focus as an organization. As a result, our Board Members are drawn from the mental health, business, and financial communities; and include family members and consumers. In everything the Board does, we are focused in supporting the day to day business of our organization by applying best-in-breed business practices, quality, and advocacy. Our organization draws on our Board Members broad experience for sound judgment and guidance as we implement and extend our Strategic Plan.
• Advisory Council: The Advisory Council is comprised of individuals who possess skills critical to NAMI MC. These skills are needed by the Board Members and Executive Director in a non-routine capacity but are critical to the successful operation of NAMI MC’s mission. The intent is that the Advisory Council represents a skill set that is complementary to that of the Board Members themselves.
